RAF Abbots Bromley
RAF Abbots Bromley was a Royal Air Force airfield in Staffordshire, England, that operated between 1940 and 1949. During World War II, it served as a Relief Landing Ground for pilot training, specifically used by flight schools based at nearby RAF Burnaston. Trainees at the site typically practiced in Miles Magisters and Tiger Moths.
RAF Scampton
Lincolnshire RAF station used for bombers in WWII, later Cold War V-force operations, and most recently known as the former home of the Red Arrows before closing in 2023.
